How does the Broker Check Service work?
The Broker Check Service is simply a background check of a current or potential financial professional(s). We believe that many people can investigate a financial professional for themselves, however there are some that would rather have our unbiased opinion and industry familiarity with certain details that may accompany a typical Broker Check. We will pull up all relevant information pertaining to the Broker(s) and their firm. We will then provide a report detailing the findings and our 'view' of the financial professional. If needed, we would be more than willing to have a phone conversation with you concerning the details of the report. You will be contacted within 24 hours of payment to confirm receipt of Broker information and payment. If I have further questions, how do I contact aeterry.com? We are available via email any time. It may take 24 hours for us to return an email however, we will respond. In certain cases we will be glad to take phone calls given a specific need. Email correspondence is easier for the simple reason that we can respond anytime of the day or night. (We tend to be night owls and work late into the night!) How are credit cards processed through aeterry.com? Credit cards are processed via PayPal due to the simplicity, security, and ease of use for the customer. It allows you to use your PayPal account or a major credit or debit card. Do subscriptions automatically renew after one year? No, subscriptions to the newsletter are not automatically renewed each year. We detest services that automatically renew your subscription, so we don’t do that. We believe that each subscriber should have to consciously decide that the newsletter is a benefit and that they wish to renew their subscription. So we will send you a reminder each year when your twelve month anniversary is approaching. Do you ship internationally? Yes, we do ship internationally and the shipping charges will be slightly higher than the Domestic U.S. Postage charges. Contact us to prearrange international shipping. Does A.E Terry, LLC retain credit card information? Absolutely not! We do not retain credit card information for any purposes. What service does aeterry.com use for shipping? We use the United States Post Office. For international shipping we may use Fed Ex or UPS, whichever is more reliable in your area. Also for certain size shipments in the U.S. we may use Fed Ex or UPS as well, if we believe that it will be more beneficial to you. Your cost will remain the same if we should chose to use another carrier. Is there a discount for bulk book purchases? Yes, we do have bulk order discounts for purchases over 50 copies. If you are interested in a bulk order, please email customer_service@aeterry.com. Does A.E. Terry, LLC offer personal financial planning? No, aeterry.com does not offer personal investment advice. We do help you find suitable financial professionals and/or the ability to learn more about the investment process for do it yourselfers. We are about helping you to help yourself to become more sophisticated and comfortable about the investment process as a whole. What topics does Andrew speak on? Andrew will speak on a variety of topics including but not limited to Investor Protection, Financial Planning, Ethics in Business, Faith in Business as well as other relevant topics. How do we book Andrew for a conference or speaking engagement? The best way is to email info@aeterry.com and leave your contact information and as much information about the venue as possible. We will respond to your request in a timely manner.
What does A.E Terry, LLC do with a customer’s personal information? Any and all information gathered by A.E. Terry, LLC is used only for ordering purposes. We do not give your information to anyone else. We despise other companies giving away personal information of their customers. We actually like you and are looking out for your best interest, therefore we do not pass along your private information to anyone…ever.
What value does the customer get from a yearly subscription to "A Clear View" newsletter? The customer gets "A Clear View". We believe that a customer who reads the monthly edition of A Clear View, will become more aware of current market conditions and will be able to help themselves navigate through the rough terrain of this industry. We always help the customer to think more for themselves, ask important questions and look for hidden answers. There are always key principles to help investors protect themselves from fraud and mischievous financial professionals. Also we close every issue with several questions that our subscribers ask over the month, as well as the answers issued by A.E. Terry, LLC.
If I want to cancel my subscription, how do I do this? In the event that you choose to cancel your subscription (although we have not had that happen yet), you would send an email to customer_service@aeterry.com. This will discontinue your delivery of the newsletter.
If I cancel my subscription, do I get a refund? There are no refunds for the newsletter. You can either choose to cancel your subscription or let the subscription lapse. But in either case you will not receive a refund for the remaining months. We hope that you understand that this keeps our books much more simplified.
Is A.E. Terry, LLC funded or compensated by any financial services company? Absolutely not! We are funded by our business at A.E. Terry, LLC and no other firms. We have no conflict of interest whatsoever.
How will my purchase appear on my credit card? You purchase will appear as AETERRYCOM on your credit card statement. Do I have to pay tax on my order? Yes and no. If the good or service is for someone residing in New York State, then you will need to pay your applicable New York State tax on goods and services ordered. If you reside outside of New York, your purchase will not be taxed.
Does a subscription offer any benefits other then a monthly newsletter? We are in the process of adding additional services for subscribers such as newsletter archives and some other beneficial resources. However these additional benefits are "in the works".
On what day of the month are the newsletters released? The newsletters are released and delivered in the first week of every month. If for some reason there is a change in that schedule we will notify all subscribers as to the change and any other necessary information.
Can I purchase multiple Broker Check Service at once? Yes, you may. If you feel you need to utilize the Broker Check Service and you desire checks on multiple financial professionals then we would need the details on each person/firm for the desired check. It is essential that the email address that you use during the the Broken information submission be the same email address that you enter during the Paypal payment process. What is A.E Terry's relationship to the organizations mentioned on the "Friends" page? These "friends" are not for profit companies that Andrew is familiar with and supports. Andrew is on the Board of Directors for the Timothy Hill Ranch. We believe that in order to have a healthy business you must give back a portion of what you make to causes that make our world a better place. That's what our "Friends" do, they make our world a better place and we support them for that.
Can anyone submit a 'Question of the Week' or just subscribers? We have this open only to subscribers of the newsletter at this point for one main reason. Our goal is that "A Clear View" will be ever relevant and important to its subscribers. The questions that come from the "Question of the Week" are meant to guide us in our newsletter, our website and services in order to make sure that we are continuing to meet the needs of our subscriber base. We never want to be obsolete or irrelevant and this is one way that allows us to remain relevant.
